LOCKDOWN ….WELL PAMPER YOUR LOCKS

LOCKDOWN ….WELL PAMPER YOUR LOCKS

”Inner beauty is great but fabulous hair never hurts”

Since we are all in a lock down and visiting our favorite hairstylist is not an option, we need to start taking care of those tresses. After all that’s the only crown we never take off.

Today I will discuss some simple hair care rituals that you can follow in the comfort of your own house.
1) Oiling those tresses. If you have the Anita’s Aromatics hair oil which is a combination of 5 base oils & 7 essential oils you are sorted. If not, don’t fret you can make your own hair oil with a combination of olive oil & coconut oil. Add in a paste of overnight soaked 1tsp of Methi seeds & empty out an evion capsule. Voila your hair oil is ready. Apply it on your scalp & leave it on for min 2 hours before shampooing . Steam your hair after the massage or just soak & squeeze a towel in hot water & cover your scalp for 15-20 min.

Remember one thing, shampoos, fancy conditioners & those serums may work, but they address the symptoms, & not the problem. The truth of the matter is those locks need nourishment. The conditioner you use can hide away that dandruff,  but it’s not going to fix it unless you address it.

Here are some easy to follow hair pack recipes that will nourish, condition, hydrate your hair. Some of these hair packs work very well to reduce hair fall, improve hair growth & deal with that dandruff you have been ignoring for years now.

I personally love curds as a main ingredient in all my hair packs. Power-packed with anti-bacterial properties, curd is an excellent ingredient to keep scalp infections at bay, moreover, it is known to reduce stubborn dandruff and itchiness. In addition, curd is rich in vitamin B5 and D, which makes it an excellent superfood for our hair.

Try these hair packs & hair oil & pamper those locks & make the most of this lockdown.
I have given you a huge variety so you can use any of the combinations available easily at your home. Do let me know what you tried & drop in a comment incase of any queries or suggestions.
