Sweet Almond Carrier Oil

Sweet Almond Carrier Oil

Though civilisations have waxed lyrical about the beauty of the almond tree, they have been just as equivocal about the medicinal and cosmetic benefits of sweet almond oil. It is used in ancient Chinese, Greco-Persian and Ayurvedic schools of medicine to treat psoriasis and eczema. In Ayurveda, this oil was also used to improve the reproductive system, muscles and bones as well. Most importantly, the almond and the oil extracted from it are known to be rich in Vitamin A and E, Omega-3 fatty acids and zinc and have brain-boosting, anti-inflammatory, immunity-boosting and liver-boosting properties.
